Team & Science
The people and expertise that make Swiss Natural Med a benchmark in precision nutritional supplementation. An interdisciplinary scientific committee and solid operational management, united by a single goal: uncompromising quality.
We have never believed in megadoses of chemically isolated molecules. We have always believed in precision: the right nutrient, in the right form, at the right time. Every product we develop is the result of years of clinical research and continuous monitoring of the international scientific literature.
Every formulation is the result of innovative natural processes — food matrix, natural fermentation, nanoemulsions, sucrosomial minerals — validated by peer-reviewed scientific literature. We don't make ordinary supplements: we formulate biologically precise answers to real nutritional needs.
EvidenceCore
AI Platform
An advanced Multi-RAG system developed in-house to bring real-time scientific research to the heart of every formulation and advisory decision we make. Not static databases: living, up-to-date evidence, rigorously selected. We don't rely on static databases. The system constantly monitors the main international databases, selects only high-quality publications and uses them to improve both the quality of our advice to partner professionals and the bioavailability and efficacy of the active ingredients in our products.
Real-time collection
The system constantly monitors the main international scientific databases, capturing every relevant new publication as soon as it becomes available.
Core Filter — multifactorial quality weighting
Every publication is assessed through six independent weighting levels:
Study type hierarchy - maximum weight to meta-analyses and systematic reviews, followed by RCTs, non-randomised controlled studies, observational studies and case reports.
Bias analysis - each study is examined for the main types of bias: publication bias (studies with negative results tend not to be published), selection bias, detection bias, attrition bias and confirmation bias.
Funding analysis - studies with a declared conflict of interest or industry funding are automatically downgraded. The funding source is an independent predictor of bias in the results.
Impact factor and journal quality - we assess indexing in PubMed/Cochrane, the peer-review process, the journal's h-index and its reputation in the specific field.
Methodological rigour - sample size, study duration, presence of a control group, blinding, statistical significance and robustness of the p-value.
Applied clinical relevance - a statistically significant result is not enough: the study must have concrete relevance to practical human nutrition and to the populations of interest. Only studies that pass this overall threshold make it into the Core.
Human-in-the-Loop Training
Answers are validated by human experts in a continuous loop, ensuring that AI remains a tool serving scientific expertise — not the other way round.
From research to formulation
The evidence collected feeds directly into product development: every decision on bioavailability, molecular synergies and innovative natural processes is guided by the most up-to-date data available. Every answer to partner professionals is generated with the latest publications attached.
Scientific expertise at the core.
Derry Procaccini
For more than twenty years he has studied the interaction between natural bioactive molecules and human physiology. His vision guides the entire Swiss Natural Med philosophy: molecular precision, high bioavailability and effective doses — not megadoses. He is the founder of EvidenceCore AI and President of the Swiss Academy of Advanced Nutrition (SAAN), which is dedicated to science communication and advanced training in precision nutrition.
Lorenzo Pascazio
He brings the rigour of academic research and the clinical perspective of internal and geriatric medicine to the committee. His collaboration enriches our in-depth work on the specific needs of different populations, including the most vulnerable groups, and on the interaction between nutritional protocols and complex clinical conditions.
Annalisa Lessi
She brings the psychological dimension to an approach to health that never separates mind and body. Her expertise enriches Swiss Natural Med's vision with the awareness that genuine well-being is always the result of a complex balance. Her contribution is central to designing protocols that take into account the cognitive, emotional and behavioural aspects of health and nutritional supplementation.
Scientific excellence made tangible.
Valentina Lessi
Behind every Swiss Natural Med product that reaches a professional or an end customer lies Valentina's precise and tireless work. She ensures the operational efficiency of the entire organisation: from managing the supply chain and logistics to implementing HACCP protocols, from overseeing Bio.Inspecta certifications to coordinating external laboratory analyses and quality control on every single batch produced. Her work ensures that the committee's scientific excellence translates into safe, compliant and reliable products — always.
