Biocurcumin is a food supplement with turmeric extract, in a pack of 60 softgels of 340 mg (20.4 g).
The extract is obtained from the rhizome of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) and is standardised to 95% curcuminoids. The daily dose of two capsules provides 8.4 mg of extract, equivalent to 8 mg of curcuminoids. The other ingredients are emulsifiers (polysorbate 80 and polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), medium-chain triglycerides, food-grade gelatine, glycerol, sorbitol and D-alpha-tocopherol as an antioxidant.
The product is gluten-free, lactose-free and GMO-free. The recommended daily dose is two capsules, preferably with meals, so one pack lasts thirty days.
Biocurcumin is produced in Switzerland. The jar is made of recyclable bioplastic: jar and lid go in the plastics collection (HDPE 2); check your municipality’s rules.
