Store in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat and light. Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. The best-before date refers to the product in its intact, correctly stored packaging. It is recommended not to use the product after the best-before date.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, away from light and heat. After opening, close the container tightly.

Marine collagen in small peptides
Lumenday’s collagen is derived from fish and processed by controlled enzymatic hydrolysis. The long chains of the protein are broken down into smaller fragments, called peptides, with a typical molecular weight of about 2,000 daltons.
The raw material has a protein content of at least 90% and is practically odourless and tasteless. Its amino acid profile is characterised by glycine, proline and hydroxyproline.
Checks on the raw material
Each batch is characterised analytically: molecular weight, protein content, physico-chemical parameters, limits for heavy metals and microbiological parameters. The checks also include E. coli and Salmonella.

Returns
You can notify us of your withdrawal within 14 days of receipt. The return must be made within 14 days of that notice, with the product intact, in its original packaging and with the seal unbroken. Return costs are at your expense.

Marine or bovine collagen: what is the difference?
The main difference is the source: marine collagen is derived from fish, bovine collagen from cattle. Lumenday uses marine collagen peptides obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis. It therefore contains fish and is not suitable for anyone allergic to fish.
What does ‘hydrolysed collagen’ mean?
It means that the long chains of the protein have been broken down into smaller fragments, called peptides. In Lumenday their typical molecular weight is about 2,000 daltons. It is not collagen in its intact form.
What do we know about absorption?
During digestion, the peptides are broken down further. The research cited in the scientific rationale for the raw material describes the passage of amino acids and small peptides into the blood after taking hydrolysed collagen.
